The item is is designed to keep the front of your legs dry and around the top of your gumboots at the back of your legs. The garment provides a full leg of Cotton material underneath the PVC so the leg part can tuck into your gumboot with the PVC easily slipping over the top of either your short or long gumboots. The apron is designed to sit just above your knees. This will make walking in the shed easier and ease any tension on your neck with it clipping onto the overalls. It will also help those who normally would have rolled up their apron. Upon leaving the cowshed the the apron is easily removed by un-clipping the clips on the front and can be easily clipped together to hang up in the shed while you continue in your daily routine.
