Section 4: Placing an Order
When you place an order through Castel Rural's website, we will send you an e-mail to confirm that we have received your order. Payment for the goods must be made at the time that you place your order (or other payment option available in the checkout page). In the event that the goods are no longer available, you will be advised and your payment will be refunded in full.
An order is made on our website by placing a product in your shopping cart and proceeding through our checkout process which includes delivery, billing and any other relevant details.
The final step consists of a confirmation page with full details of your order, which you are able to print as a record of your order. We will also email you with confirmation of your order.
We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any orders that we believe, solely by our own judgement, to have been placed fraudulently or where there has been an error in the listing, description or pricing of the goods.
Section 5: Payment Options
Our current payment options available through our website are Card Payment and PayPal.
Card Payment is accepted with the following credit cards:

- MasterCard
Section 6: Pricing and Availability
Prices for our products are subject to change without notice.
We reserve the right at any time to modify or discontinue the Service (or any part or content thereof) without notice at any time.
We shall not be liable to you or to any third-party for any modification, price change, suspension or discontinuance of the Service.
While we endeavour to ensure that a reasonable number of goods are available at the prices stated, we cannot guarantee that there will be sufficient stock to meet all orders.
Section 7: Website and Credit Card Security
All payments via our sites are processed via the secure DPS payment gateway which secures your credit card information, to give you a safe and secure shopping experience.
Section 8: Shipping Information
Orders (except for situations arising under Section 6: Pricing and Availability) will be sent by Castel Rural with any instructions provided by you regarding delivery. This information can be modified by emailing castelrural@gmail.com, however, depending at what your order status is, we may not be able to make any changes but we will make every effort to accomodate this.
Currently, we only deliver to New Zealand addresses excluding P O Boxes and Private Bags. We do post to both Urban and Rural addresses.
Please note that a signature is required for all deliveries. The goods become the recipient’s property and responsibility once they have been signed for at the time of delivery. If goods are lost or damaged in transit, please contact us within 7 business days at castelrural@gmail.com
We endeavour to ensure the majority of orders are dispatched 3-5 days after the order has been placed. We do not accept any unforeseen delays in delivery. To ensure successful delivery, please provide a delivery address where someone will be present during business hours to sign for the receipt of your goods. Section 9: Returns and Refunds
If you need help or have questions about any products please contact us first, before you purchase online. This way, we can assist you in finding the right products for your requirements.
If you purchase online and want to return the product you purchased, please note that there is no legal requirement for Castel Rural to accept the oods because you have changed your mind. Castel Rural may accept certain goods back if they are returned unopened, unused and in original undamaged condition within a period of 7 days only. Contact Castel Rural to confirm the situation that applies to the goods that you wish to return.
Personal hygiebne products may only be returned if they are fault. They cannot be returned simply because you have changed your mind.
You are also entitled to all guarantees and rights to return faulty goods that may be given by the manufacturer of the goods and by law except where excluded in these terms and conditions.

Section 10: Warranty
In the event a claim is to be made on a warranty, please contact us by emailing castelrural@gmail.com
Section 11: Exclusions of the Fair Trading Act 1986 and the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993
Where you are in trade, you agree it is fair and reasonable that the following provisions of the Fair Trading Act are excluded:
- Section 9 which prohibits misleading and deceptive conduct generally;
- Section 12A which prohibits unsubstantiated representations; and
- Section 13 which prohibits false or misleading representations.
The guarantees under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 are excluded for all purchases of goods made for business purposes. However any manufacturer’s warranty and the Sale of Goods Act 1908 will continue to apply.
Section 13: Security and Confidentiality
When transmitting and dealing with your personal information over the Internet, you acknowledge that the Internet is not a secure environment. Although we have physical, electronic and managerial processes in place to protect our website and the information we collect via our website or email, we cannot guarantee that your information will be secure, confidential and free from unauthorised access or security breaches. Accordingly, you acknowledge and agree that we are not liable for any unauthorised access damage or loss that may occur or for correcting or restoring your account which may have been damaged by reason of the unauthorised access.

This website is to be interpreted, as governed by the laws of New Zealand.

Your privacy is important to us and we will take all reasonable steps to ensure that information held is secure in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

If any part of these terms is held to be invalid, illegal or unenforceable, that part will be severed and the remainder of these terms will remain in full force and have full effect.

We will send relevant invoices and notices, if and as required under these terms to the email address nominated by you. It is your responsibility to ensure that you keep us informed of any changes to your contact details. You will be deemed to have received a notice sent by email at the time that we send it.

These terms (including any terms or policies explicitly incorporated by reference) amounts to the whole of the arrangement between you and us relating to your use of the website or our services. These terms replace any prior related agreements and understandings between you and us. Castel Rural reserves the right to alter, modify or update these terms of use. These terms apply to your order. We may change our terms and conditions at any time, so please do not assume that the same terms will apply to future orders.
